There are 2 documents for the Black Wound Badge, which was earned 27 May 1942. One was completed 10 September 1942, when Brück was with Genesenden Company Infantry Ersatz Batl (mot) 29, when they were in Zillichau. (Lexicon-der-Wehrmacht.de confirms the unit was there at that time). It has No ink stamp and is signed by the Batl. Commander.

The 2nd Black Wound Badge document was completed16 November 1942, when Brück was with Panzer Grenadier Batl. 104. It has the corresponding ink stamp and is signed by the commander.

There are 2 documents for the Afrika Cufftitle. The first was completed 9 December 1943, when Brück was with 12 Panzer Grenadier Regiment 115. It has the corresponding ink stamp and is signed by the commander, in Darmstadt.

The 2nd Afrika Cufftitle document was completed 18 May 1944, has the same corresponding ink stamp and is signed by the same commander in Darmstadt.

Most likely Brück's paperwork didn't catch up with him or it was thought to be destroyed when the units were destroyed. You can Google the units to see they fought in Tunis, Tobruk and Cassino. I didn't find Brück listed in the death registry, so it is possible he fought in the Battle of the Bulge and Bastogne in 1944.

Super set to an Afrika Korps combatant!
