WW1 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Army Infantrymann Johann Bauer, 11 Company 2 Infantry Regiment.

Killed on the field of honor, 27 August 1914 in the fighting by Menil  He was 21.

Single page single sided card measures about 2.5 x 4 inches. Back has Jesus.

Includes a slip from the German Graves Office listing him as killed by Luneville and buried in a mass grave in Gerbeville, France.

Good condition.

WW1 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Army Gefreiter Anton Sperl,  21 Bavarian Infantry Regiment.  From Warzenried.

Was awarded the Bavarian Military Service Cross with Crown and Swords.

Killed by shrapnel the the fighting in the Somme, 13 September 1916.  He was 25.

Single page single sided card measures about 2.5 x 4.5 inches. Back has the trinity  with a soldier.

Good condition.

Killed on the battlefield in Northern France, 2 October 1914. He was 25.

German Graves Office lists him killed by Fay and buried in a mass grave in Vermandovillers, France.

Killed in the war against France 1 November 1914, in the fighting by Arras.  He was 32.

German Graves Office lists him as killed by Arras and buried in a mass grave in St. Laurent Blangy, France.

Shot in the head and killed, 30 June 1916, Gruziatyn by Wolhynia, Ukraine.  He was 30.
