Kriegsmarine Wehrpass for Hans Laban, born 10 July 1911, Hamburg.  He was a single diplom ingenieur in civilian.

The Wehrpass was started 25 October 1938, when Laban volunteered for military service.

He completed advanced school and passed a higher school exam.  He spoke English and French.


He received the D.L.R.G. Lifesaving Certificate and had a civilian driver’s license for cars.







He volunteered for military service, and was classified Marine Ersatz Reserve I, 25 October 1938.

Wehrpass cover has wear and the swastika has been inked in, indicating it was used as identification by Laban after WW2.
