Army Soldbuch for Nikolaus Müller was started when he was a Grenadier.  On 1 October 1939, he was promoted to Obergrenadier, on 1 May 1940 to Gefreiter and on 1 October 1940 to Obergefreiter.  His dog tag was from 6 Company Infantry Regiment 105

Müller was born 27 August 1916, Koblenz.  He was a stone cutter.  His Soldbuch was started 29 February1939.


Page 3 has the checks for the promotions that appear on Page 1.  He was with 6 Company Infantry Regiment 105, except for the promotion to Obergefreiter, when he was with 10 Company.

His units show 6 Company Infantry Regiment 105, and then 10 Company Infantry Regiment 105.






His father, who worked for the railway, was his next of kin.

He was issued a rifle and a bayonet 1 February 1941.

Page 18 has his pay groups.

There are several extra papers.  This one catalogs his uniforms and gear, February 1941.  He was issued a steel helmet.

Nikolaus Müller is listed in the VDK as having been killed, 19 September 1941, Kolonie Eigenfeld (Ukraine).  His name appears on a stone at Kirowograd Cemetery, though his body was not recovered.
