WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for SA Mann Willi Böhm.  From Stappenbach.

Died 20 January 1934, Wachenroth.  He was 22.

Nice very early SA uniform photo.

Back of card has Jesus with a crown of thorns.  Single sided single page card measures about  2.25 x 42.5 inches.

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for SA-Mann and Army Gefreiter Hugo Motsch, Machine Gun Bataillon.

Badly wounded 22 October 1943 in the southern sector of the East Front, and died in a field hospital, 8 November 1943.  He was 33.

Back of card has Jesus as well as his name with an Iron Cross.  Double sided double page card measures about  6 x 4.5 inches.

Includes a slip from the German Graves Office stating he died at field hospital 661 by Niccolajew, Odessa and that he was buried in Odessa, Ukraine.

In good condition.

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Luftwaffe and Army brothers Josef and Fridolin Mülhans from Poxau.

Luftwaffe Gefreiter Josef Mülhans, Flak Unit Hermann Göring Division.

Was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class.

Killed in the difficult fighting in Tunesia, 9 May 1943.  He was 19.

Nice photo in tropical Luftwaffe uniform.

Includes slip from the German Graves Office listing him as buried in Bordj Cedria, Tunesia.

Single page single sided card measures about  2.5 x 4 inches.

In very good condition.

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Army Grenadier Frank Morsak. 

He was just 17.5 years old when he died from his wounds, 11 May 1945.  He was buried in the cemetery in Blankenese by Hamburg.

Single page single sided card measures about 2.5 x 4.5 inches. Back of card has St Georg.

German Graves Office slip lists him as buried in Hamburg South cemetery, Germany. 

Good condition.

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Army Medical Obergefreiter and Chaplain Helmut Kistenfeger.  He was made a priest 25 March 1940.

Killed in the high north, 10 November 1943.

Nice photo wearing mountain troops cap.

Back of card has a rendering of Mary.  Single sided single page card measures about  2.75 x 4.25 inches.

Includes a slip from the German Graves Office stating he was killed in Kiestinki, Finland.

In very good condition.

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Army Oberleutnant and Company Commander Gottfried Weiss, Grenadier Schützen Company.

Was awarded the iron Cross 1st Class, Iron Cross 2nd Class, Wound Badge and other medals.

Killed in the East, 18 September 1943.  He was 26.

Back of card has a knight.  Single sided single page card measures about  2.5 x 4 inches.

Includes a slip from the German Graves Office listing him as killed in Djatlowka and buried in Demidowka, Russia.

Excellent condition.

His brother, Fridolin, was an Army Gefreiter in a Gebirgsjaeger Regiment.

He was killed in the East, 31 August 1944.  He was also 19.

Includes slip from the German Graves Office listing him as  killed at an altitude of 1298 and was buried in Valea Uzului, Romania.

Single page single sided card measures about 2.5 x 4.5 inches. Back of card has St Georg.

WW2 German Death Card Sterbebild Army Feldwebel SA Grupperfuehrer Iron Cross photo

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Army Feldwebel Anton Lehnert in an Infantry Unit.

Was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class, West Wall Medal and other medals.  In his photo, which was taken the day the EK2 was awarded, he also wears a Long Service Medal ribbon and the SA Sport Badge.

In 1932, he was one of the founders of SA Ortsgruppe Pfalzel.  1933-1934, he was the Gruppenführer at SA Sport Schule Windsheim.   He went to the police and onwards to the Wehrmacht as a professional soldier.    He fought in France, Yugoslavia and Russia.

As a platoon leader, he was killed in Russia, 15 August 1941.  He was 28. 

Includes a slip from the German Graves Office stating he was killed at Rschischtschew and buried in Kiev, Ukraine.

Double page single sided card measures 5.75 x 4.5 inches.  Back has a cross and Mary.
