WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Luftwaffe Oberfeldwebel Josef Wagner, Stuka Geschwader.

Was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class, Iron Cross 1st Class and the Silver and Gold Frontflugspange.

Killed 26 July 1944, Jaworowo, Russia.  He was 31.

Nice Luft uniform photo.

Single sided single page card measures about  2.5 x 4.5 inches.

Includes a German Graves Office slip listing him as killed south east of Jaworowo and being buried in Pomorze, Poland.

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Volunteer and Luftwaffe Flieger Jakob Schwarzbauer, Pilot School.

Died in an accident, 25 June 1944.  He was 18.

Double sided single page card measures about  2.5 x 4.5 inches.

Has a rub to the top front border.

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Kriegsmarine Matrosen Obergefreiter.

Killed by he adbancing American troops in Weiden, 22 April 1945.  He was 37.

Nice photo in Kriegsmarine uniform wearing his Donald Duck cap.

Stalag XIIIB by Weiden was liberated by American Forces on 22 April 1945.

Includes slip from the German Graves Office listing him as buried in Hofkirchen, Germany.

Single page single sided card measures about  2.5 x 4.5 inches.

In very good condition.

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Army Grenadier Frank Morsak. 

He was just 17.5 years old when he died from his wounds, 11 May 1945.  He was buried in the cemetery in Blankenese by Hamburg.

Single page single sided card measures about 2.5 x 4.5 inches. Back of card has St Georg.

German Graves Office slip lists him as buried in Hamburg South cemetery, Germany. 

Good condition.

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Army Medical Obergefreiter and Chaplain Helmut Kistenfeger.  He was made a priest 25 March 1940.

Killed in the high north, 10 November 1943.

Nice photo wearing mountain troops cap.

Back of card has a rendering of Mary.  Single sided single page card measures about  2.75 x 4.25 inches.

Includes a slip from the German Graves Office stating he was killed in Kiestinki, Finland.

In very good condition.

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Army Oberleutnant and Company Commander Gottfried Weiss, Grenadier Schützen Company.

Was awarded the iron Cross 1st Class, Iron Cross 2nd Class, Wound Badge and other medals.

Killed in the East, 18 September 1943.  He was 26.

Back of card has a knight.  Single sided single page card measures about  2.5 x 4 inches.

Includes a slip from the German Graves Office listing him as killed in Djatlowka and buried in Demidowka, Russia.

Excellent condition.

WW2 German Death Card Sterbebild Army Feldwebel SA Grupperfuehrer Iron Cross photo

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Army Feldwebel Anton Lehnert in an Infantry Unit.

Was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class, West Wall Medal and other medals.  In his photo, which was taken the day the EK2 was awarded, he also wears a Long Service Medal ribbon and the SA Sport Badge.

In 1932, he was one of the founders of SA Ortsgruppe Pfalzel.  1933-1934, he was the Gruppenführer at SA Sport Schule Windsheim.   He went to the police and onwards to the Wehrmacht as a professional soldier.    He fought in France, Yugoslavia and Russia.

As a platoon leader, he was killed in Russia, 15 August 1941.  He was 28. 

Includes a slip from the German Graves Office stating he was killed at Rschischtschew and buried in Kiev, Ukraine.

Double page single sided card measures 5.75 x 4.5 inches.  Back has a cross and Mary.

In good condition.
